WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT INTO MONDAY AFTERNOON... THE WINTER STORM WARNING IS IN EFFECT INTO MONDAY AFTERNOON. SNOW WILL SPREAD THROUGHOUT THE REGION THIS EVENING AND BECOME HEAVY AT TIMES OVERNIGHT. WINDS WILL ALSO INCREASE LATE TONIGHT ALLOWING FOR BLOWING AND DRIFTING OF THE SNOW WITH VISIBILITIES FALLING BELOW 1/4 MILE AT TIMES. BASED ON THE LATEST FORECAST TRACK OF THE STORM... IT APPEARS ASTHOUGH 8 TO 12 INCHES OF SNOW WILL FALL. THE STEADY SNOW IS EXPECTED TO TAPER OFF TO SNOW SHOWERS ON MONDAY AFTERNOON. TRAVEL WILL BE VERY HAZARDOUS INTO MONDAY AND ANY PLANNED TRAVEL SHOULD BE POSTPONED UNTIL AFTER THE STORM ENDS.

It's still snowing slightly here in the South. My son is happy for a day off but hubby had to go to work. I think I need to go make a cuppa something warm.
