An End to the Season

I don't watch a ton of television.

I have a handful of shows, most of them rather similar:

Monday - "Castle", "Pawn Stars"
Tuesday - "Body of Evidence"
Wednesday - "Criminal Minds"
Thursday - "Bones", "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation", "Grey's Anatomy" and "Private Practice" (but I am thinking it will be good if "Private Practice" is not renewed for the 2011-12 season)
Friday - Saturday - nothing
Sunday - "Celebrity Apprentice" (that just ended three days ago)

Now that the 2010-11 season is ending, more than half of these shows are off. Now there is nothing to watch. Summer shows are at a premium. Let me see... it looks like "Drop Dead Diva" will be returning on 19 June; "Eureka" returns on 11 July (that's not too long a wait...); "White Collar" returns on 7 June; and I can't think of any other summer-airing shows I watch.

It's tough being a fussbudget.

Hi Ash! The only show I watch of those you listed is 'Pawn Stars'. I like 'House Hunters International', 'Nurse Jackie' and 'The Borgias' and maybe one or two others I'm forgetting now. A friend suggested 'True Blood' but since I'm a few seasons behind I don't know if I'll get the chance to rent them before the new season starts.

p.s. I'm commenting from my newer jewelry blog today, but it's still Mary (Mary Says...)

EMT, thank you for writing - I appreciate it. I try to write well, try to keep errors out of the posts, but I tend to type fast and rush along, so don't always get the errors. I also tend to be a marathon writer, which can be good or bad. But it is always good to get a rave review. Thank you so much. I hope you keep reading and enjoying what I have to say!

Mary Catherine, thank you for the warm and fuzzy comments, as always. I didn't catch this until today, 1 February 2015 (how sad is that?). I really find that even though I am not working any longer, I watch very little television - it gets old. I would much rather bury my nose down a novel, on my iPad, or in printed form!
