Sunday Seven: Episode #180

The Cardinals and the Steelers.

I just had to go ahead and say that, because there are a few close friends of mine — like Chip in particular — who would never believe that I’d actually know who was even playing in the Super Bowl today. (To be fair, under normal conditions, he’d be right.)

I’m not a huge sports fan, but sometimes even non-sports fans can really enjoy movies that involve sports in some manner. Yeah, by now, I think you know where this week’s topic is going!

Here’s a couple of lists of the most popular sports-related films. Note that not only are non-football films included, but some of the choices take a far more broad view of “sports” than I would have considered: The Karate Kid even makes one of the lists! So you’ve got more to work with than you might have imagined.

THIS WEEK’S QUESTION:Name your seven favorite sports-related films.
Oh, my... I don't usually watch stuff like this, but let's see...

1. The Greatest Game Ever Played
2. Heaven Can Wait
3. Animalymipcs
4. A League of Their Own
5. The Black Stallion (it's a stretch)

Now I need to look at those lists...

6. Caddyshack
7.

I'm done. I'm completely out of ideas...

I found out who wa-- is in the StupidBowl yesterday morning, talking to my father - I asked him who was in it... I'd no idea. I usually don't, unless someone mentions it to me. I have little interest in that or any sports, except the Olympics.
