Cuckoo's Nest

There's a pombush in the garden where the lads and lasses meet
For it wouldn'a do to do the do they're doin' in the street.
The first time that I went there I was very much impressed
To see the laddies rumpling up the cuckoo's nest

I met him in the morning and I had him in the night
It was getting dark and we were quickly losing light.
He would never had found out it and he never would have guessed
